Manager, Global Brand Management (PJ Masks)

eOne's Family Brands division is an exciting, fast growing team within the global Hasbro family that specialises in the development, production, distribution and brand management of kid's entertainment. Key properties in the brand portfolio include international pre-school TV phenomenon Peppa Pig; superhero hit PJ Masks; newly launched pre-school series Ricky Zoom; fashion brands My Little Pony, Equestria Girls and Jem; as well as action-adventure brands Transformers and Power Rangers.

Role Summary:

Lead annual global franchise development, planning and activation to deliver against the global strategy and vision for growth of a leading preschool within the global market today. In this instrumental and high-profile activation role, you will lead and influence cross-functional internal and external teams across the eOne/Hasbro Blueprint to plan, support and execute cohesive and impactful franchise initiatives to grow your franchise across key categories and regions globally. This role reports to the Director of Global Franchise Strategy & Management, and supports the Director and VP to activate against the global franchise vision and corresponding action plan that they set.

Key responsibilities:
• Develop and execute annual franchise plans and activations based on key franchise strategies, consumer insights and content strategies; focus on both near- and mid-term activations to ensure successful ongoing engagement and growth for your brand across the Blueprint
• In-depth content expertise; integrated into series production, managing schedules, trackers and processes to ensure storytelling fully delivers franchise, toy and commercial requirements
• Lead delivery and activation of franchise content streams including Music and Audio, and partner with Digital teams to drive delivery of YouTube Originals and Apps/Gaming content to activate against global franchise strategies and support budget achievement across the Blueprint
• Ensure brand identity, tone of voice and global brand positioning is adhered to across all audience segments and brand assets
• Oversee and manage creation of all brand assets with a keen lens on regional needs and consumer / category insights
• Pitch and partner with internal and external partners around the world, both commercially and creatively, to align on and activate the global franchise strategy. Own relationships and communication with blueprint teams and partners (including Toys & Games, Content Sales, Digital Gaming, YouTube & Social Media, Consumer Products, Location Based Entertainment, Promotions, Entertainment Brand Marketing, Legal and Finance) to support, inform and influence those teams, and to identify new ways to grow the franchise in their categories/regions. Be responsible for regularly sharing and championing franchise and content plans at key moments
• Oversee industry and consumer research initiatives in partnership with global insights team to ensure the latest data and insights are in hand and helping to drive strategy and planning against your brand
• Support brand tracking, industry and consumer research initiatives for your brand in partnership with Dir GSFM and global insights team. Always be commercially aware of global brand health and performance for your brand and relevant competitors and apply these insights across Blueprint activations
• Oversee and manage workloads of junior team members and continually support their development

Key Competencies:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Previous franchise management experience for a successful global consumer franchise
• Excellent project managing skills, highly proactive, able to juggle priorities / meet tight deadlines
• Thorough understanding of global market trends and awareness of the nuances of each territory
• Excellent rapport builder able to develop strong stakeholder relationships upwards &downwards
• First-rate presentation skills
• Highly resourceful, tenacious and able to work autonomously
• Experience of managing or mentoring junior team members
• Ability to stay 'cool' when the pressure is on
• Results driven while maintaining a high level of creativity
• Excellent use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
