Traffic Reporter

Job Description

Entercom St. Louis is adding to our in-house ''news, road traffic, and weather'' content team. Duties include:
• Gathering, writing, recording, editing, delivering traffic reports in AM and PM drive-time
• Voicing news, traffic, and weather reports to air on broadcast, web and app platforms
• Monitoring traffic cams, Twitter feeds, listener texts and other sources to provide reliable and accurate information
• Post, edit & manage Traffic information to ETM Social media accounts and Radio.com platforms
• Providing live reads of sponsors within designated reports
• Making station appearances (paid and unpaid) as required
• Other duties as required by management

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-year traffic or news reporting for broadcast media
• Knowledge of St. Louis geography, roads, city names and transportation systems essential
• Must be computer literate, have excellent writing and presentation skills
• Must be helpful in news, traffic, and weather gathering operation.
• A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required

Must be able to do a ''split shift'' weekdays
