Job Description
IMG are hiring a Social Media Coordinator to join our Tennis team to manage & grow the social media accounts for our tennis properties in the IMG Events portfolio, North America.

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to join our tennis division. You will be working across our North American tennis properties, including (but not limited to) 'The Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic', 'The Miami Open presented by Itaú' and even supporting across some of our tennis properties in EMEA. You will leverage your creativity, passion, and innovative thinking to drive how we promote our iconic tennis events in social and drive how we engage and grow our owned tennis community.

Reporting to the Consumer Marketing Manager and based out of our Miami Head Office, you'll be ready to establish yourself and your role quickly and start adding value from the outset. This role is an important hire for the tennis team, and we are looking for the suitable candidate to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
• Ownership and development of the social media strategy for tennis properties in North America - including social channel strategy & plan, content strategy & plan by channel, social tone of voice development, posting cadence plan and development of social KPIs.
• Community management - day-to-day management of social channels and communities; executing against the social media strategy and in pursuit of meeting social KPIs that ladder up to support the brands and business strategy.
• Digital content creation & distribution for social - including photography, video, GIFs, reels, IGTV, copywriting etc.
• Identification of reactive social opportunities that are appropriate for our tennis properties to engage in - creation & management of reactive content (including seeking key stakeholder approval for posting in a timely manner).
• Asset curation & sourcing – working with the Consumer Marketing Manager to source player, venue, tennis lifestyle & sponsor approved images, video & copy to populate our content plans with.
• Sponsor asset development, management & reporting – ensuring we deliver agreed social content pieces for our sponsors & encourage meaningful engagement with sponsored content as outlined within sponsor agreements and reporting on performance as required.
• Paid social media support – work with the digital growth team to plan & deliver paid social media campaigns that drive ticket sales to and engagement with our tennis events and brands.
• Ongoing measurement & evaluation against agreed social KPIs – producing weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual social media reports and optimizing the strategy & plan along the way in response to performance.
• Trend monitoring – monitor, track, identify, share & test the latest social media trends as appropriate for our tennis properties.

Knowledge & Experience
• Deep passion for building and growing brands in digital & social channels.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the digital & social media landscape.
• Some experience developing social media strategies & plans, creating content for digital & social channels, posting, publishing, optimizing & reporting on social content across various social platforms.
• Adept at using content creation tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Canva etc.
• Experience using various social media management, tracking & reporting tools to support and optimize the execution of a social content plan such as native Facebook, Instagram & Twitter insights, Sprout Social etc.
• Experience managing multiple social media communities and accounts for multiple brands.
• Proven experience growing social media communities and increasing organic engagement.
• Experience directly working on (or for) a tennis or sports property or personality is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the professional tennis circuit including all tennis events on the ATP & WTA tour, the tennis talent & players globally as well as knowledge of the key influencers in the world of tennis is preferred.

Unusual Challenges and/or Circumstances
• You'll usually work normal office hours (9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday), however, you may work longer hours, including evening and weekend work, when working to a campaign deadline or in the lead up to/ during an event.
• You may be required to travel to each event and work on-site for the duration of the event, as necessary.
• Outside of event travel there may be a requirement to travel for meetings as part of the role.

Working Conditions
• This is a permanent position.
• This role will be based in Miami, Florida
• Working hours are 9:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.
• Out of hours and weekend work may sometimes be required;
• There may be a requirement to travel for meetings, shoots or attend events as part of the role.
