The Role and What You'll Do:

The Reporting Analyst will independently formulate and implement reporting solutions that will serve our internal and external clients, including collegiate partners, agents, and vendor partners. The Reporting Analyst will manage the execution of reporting capabilities across the Athletic & Campus Travel business by maintaining and analyzing client travel and expense data, and liaising with clients to improve their business outcomes. Additionally, the Reporting Analyst will oversee procedures for creating efficiencies for the reporting of travel and expense data to our internal and external clients.

The individual in this role will understand travel and expense systems, credit card reconciliation processes, and some accounting functions. This person will also understand the processes that support this business and the underlying data elements needed to provide information for decision making and reconciliation purposes. With this knowledge base, the individual will be able to make our clients' lives easier as it relates to travel expenses through process efficiencies and analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversees credit card reconciliations and expense integrations for multiple high-value clients, e.g. with volumes in the millions (USD)
• Serves as resource with expert knowledge for designated collegiate partners and makes recommendations for the development of processes aimed at creating efficiencies regarding travel and expense data
• Develops reporting solutions through the use of Excel and Power BI and determines the most effective method for summarizing and presenting travel data for analysis by clients
• Oversees the accuracy of client savings reporting which is a critical element for client retention and growth
• Leads efforts to create reporting solutions for other teams within the Managed Travel Services business
• Responsible for online reporting tool, Grasp, for all university and athletic department partners. This includes developing strategies to increase utilization, leading demos, and collaborating with Grasp to improve the technology
• Leads efforts for credit card reconciliations and ad-hoc report requests
• Responsible for researching and ensuring accurate client reporting data through audits as well as enhancement of processes to increase the accuracy of data
• Responsible for researching potential payment solutions, and then developing and implementing processes to achieve efficiencies for credit card and expense reconciliations for clients
• Interacts and meets with vendor partners to provide key performance indicators

Travel

Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays. This position may require up to 20 % travel.

You Have These

Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong client-service orientation
• Experience overseeing high value clients is a plus
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Excellent time management skills required – including the ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel
• Power BI experience a plus
• Team player, flexibility/ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
• Strong desire to learn
• Positive attitude
• Self-starter

We'd Love If You Also Have These:

Preferred Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Knowledge of travel specific systems (e.g. Global Distribution System, Trams, Concur, Grasp, iBank) a plus
• Experience in collegiate athletics or a university environment
