Job Description
IMG Licensing are one of the largest and most globally integrated licensing businesses in the world, with more than $12 billion in annual retail sales. We represent the rights of individuals, estates, media outlets, entertainment properties, fashion houses, leagues, and other corporate trademarks. We are looking for a motivated individual to join the Partnerships team to Source and negotiate new business for multiple North American Sports portfolios including Football Greats Alliance (NFLPA for Retired Players), TB12 and Jackie Robinson Foundation.

Key Accountabilities

Business Development:
• Manage the strategy and business development for day to day client needs
• Build relationships with industry leading partners and licensees
• Source, Prospect and Deliver highly competitive partnership deals across multiple sports focused categories
• Research and pitch brands/prospects with the aim of acquiring assets for pre-defined use
• Maintain project management documents tracking existing and prospective licenses and partners
• Work with the creative and marketing teams to update presentations when required and ensure sales material are kept up to date and ready for pitching
• Own the reporting function to Snr Management tracking progress of business development
• Manage end-to-end process across legal, finance and operations

Partner Management:
• Work closely with partners and clients in product and campaign development
• Facilitate the product and asset approval process when and where necessary
• Serve as the point of contact for both the partner and athlete at events
• Ensure brand guidelines and corporate identity are accurately followed to facilitate a quick approval process
• Ensure licensees and partners are activating rights

Client Management:
• As necessary, support senior team on weekly or monthly executive client needs
• Maintain communication with clients on deliverables and reports
• You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the job.

Legal Administration:
• Work closely with the legal team to ensure timely drafting and negotiation of contracts against client approved commercial terms
• Manage contracts to full execution between both client and partner

Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure financial reporting and payments are actioned in a timely manner and in accordance with license and partner agreements

Required Qualifications
• 3-5 years experience with an agency, team, league or brand
• Experienced deal maker/sales
• Demonstrable success in partnerships
• Familiarity with prospecting
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)
• Understanding of licensing process
• Strong communicator and professional personal presentation
• Ability to build strong working relationships
• Highly organized, attention to detail and adaptable
• Ability to manage workload and work across several different tasks at the same time
• Proactive, creative, professional and flexible approach
• Flair for designing and finishing polished presentations/marketing collateral
• Knowledge and interest in brand extension is desirable; specifically within North American football
