Marketing Associate - WME Sports

Job Description

WME Sports is seeking a dynamic Marketing Associate to join their team. This person will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day creative and marketing needs of the sports department to accomplish its recruiting and sales goals. This includes ideation, presentation writing & design, synthesizing & distilling research, along with developing and maintaining a variety marketing materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write and design compelling presentations and client marketing materials
• Serve as gatekeeper for all incoming requests
• Manage the day-to-day work flow, planning, timelines, costs to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and on spec.
• Develop client branding ideas across digital, content, licensing , e-sports / gaming, books, fashion etc.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to source ideas
• Work closely with research team to capture and synthesize data for developing client marketing strategies
• Maintain all client marketing files
• Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices to add value to department's efforts
• Assist with other ancillary marketing & creative projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 3 year's qualifying experience in a marketing / creative role
• Excellent strategic writer with strong design skills
• Proficiency in Keynote, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop
• Requires a passion for sports and marketing
• Highly organized and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Ability to give clear and on-brand art direction to outside designers when required
• Strong understanding of social/digital media.
• Well-developed communication skills
• Requires considerable flexibility in scheduling and the willingness to work nights and weekends
• Video editing skills are preferred but not required.
