Job Description
The Manager of North America for Endeavor Analytics will be based out of Los Angeles and working closely with the group of Analysts by providing ''day-to-day'' guidance for them when it comes to project management. In addition, this role will provide support for larger initiatives (i.e. signing decks, client RFPs, etc.)
The ideal candidate will be a strong analytical thinker and takes a ''hands-on'' approach to workload and utilizing all in-house data resources. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with high-level executives and ready to thrive in a high-paced working environment.
Reporting to the VP of Endeavor Analytics, this individual will be both a leader and a doer by actively shaping client deliverables and elevating Endeavor Analytics' output internally and externally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works across a diverse range of research and analytics projects across sport and general entertainment, including consumer insights & trends, cultural trends, talent assessments, brand analysis, industry trends, and ability to assess the impact of sponsorship & marketing/endorsement campaigns.
• Regularly collaborate with Endeavor Analytics leadership and the broader Endeavor colleague network.
• Take part in building pitch meeting collateral and client engagement materials.
• Participate in the process of exploring and assessing new vendors/resources for Endeavor Analytics.
• Help foster the growth and development of EA Analysts.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 4-5 years of relevant experience.
• Passion for sports and general entertainment.
• Proficiency in secondary/syndicated research and analytics tools (Simmons, Scarborough, Mintel, social listening platforms, Stylus, etc.)
• Curiosity for data services and IT solutions.
• Basic understanding of quantitative and qualitative primary research methods, survey design, execution and reporting techniques is a benefit, but not a requirement.
• Strong analytical skills (must be able to distill clear, compelling conclusions and recommendations from complex data points).
• Good communication and presentation skills (must be able to simplify complex topics, clearly articulate research, and persuasively engage with high-level executive audiences).
• Passion for wanting to lead and manage.
• A curiosity and a demonstrated ability to quickly master new research tools and techniques.
• Interest in and understanding of the cultural forces and trends that impact consumer behavior.
