This position will work out of our Flatiron – Manhattan, NY office Monday – Friday, with Friday offered as a flexible WFH when possible.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Assume position as key finance contact for the shared services group.
• This role is expected to take full ownership of finance and accounting functionalities, reporting into and working collaboratively with the Finance Director.
• The role will support the Finance Director as:
• Finance partner to key Business leads across the company and shared services group.
• Own the bottom-up detailed budget, planning, and cash flow, including financial forecasting, reporting, operational metrics tracking, and scenario analysis that leads to clear and concise information for decision making flagging Risks and Opps.
• Participate in special projects, system enhancements and/or ad hoc analysis as assigned.
• Own Month, Quarter, and Year End:
• Lead overall accounting activities, including month, quarter, and year end, in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare journal entries, reporting packs to corporate entities for consolidation, account reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Own P&L and BS ensuring congruent reflections to the current state of the business and providing variance analysis commentary.
• Support external and internal audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility and help develop & refine accounting processes and procedures.
• Work cross-functionally with Technically Accounting, HR, Legal, AP, Payroll, Tax, and various business owners.
• Identify and lead the implementation of best practices to improve, simplify, standardize, and scale processes.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge and Experience

Mandatory
• Excellent accounting knowledge.
• Excellent Excel usage.
• Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft Office).
• Process orientated and able to manage and reconcile large data sets.

Desirable
• Events experience.
• NetSuite / SAP accounting software.
• ERP systems.

Skills and Abilities

Mandatory
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable interaction with executive-level management.
• Excellent planning & organizational skills to achieve multiple & sometimes conflicting deadlines.

Qualifications and Training

Mandatory
• BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting.
• 3-5 years in an accounting forward role.

Desirable
• CPA qualified.

Aptitude

Mandatory
• Strong focus on seeking efficiencies with attention to detail.
• Ability to work proactively within individual and/or team settings.
• Succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.

Hiring Range Minimum:
$93,750 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:
$125,000 annually
