Job Description

Position Specific Responsibilities:
• Work in partnership with the commercial Product Architecture and Event Production teams to develop and execute exclusive hospitality offerings for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
• Directly responsible for execution of all phases of an event and its production (pre & post) and overseeing all aspects of the event to ensure high production value, maximum revenue and minimum expense
• Negotiate and contract venues (as needed) to be included within the event perimeter
• Source and contract vendors to support hospitality build
• Develop logistics and operations plans for guest ingress and egress including access points for persons with reduced mobility (PRM)
• Work closely with the Catering team to define back of house needs and logistics to successfully execute Food & Beverage Plan
• Curate in venue entertainment including but not limited to physical and digital experiences, activity stations. photos opportunities, musical performances, and athlete appearances
• Manage overall event production budget and timelines
• Coordinate logistics and operations plan to transition space into a hospitality venue for Opening Ceremony
• Develop ancillary product opportunities for Game Stakeholders and Custom Groups
• Work in coordination with the Design team to ideate and render hospitality space for promotional and marketing materials
• Seek necessary approvals and authorization from Paris 2024 (as needed)
• Identify potential sponsorship assets and ''in kind'' opportunities
• Encourage and support use of sustainable products, when available
• Identify, recruit, train and develop a team of individuals who can lead event production efforts

General Responsibilities
• Oversee scope milestones and deadlines
• Forecast, qualify and maintain budgets
• Facilitate and lead production meetings with key staff and vendors
• Troubleshoot, anticipate and act proactively on event aspects of role leading up and following turn over to production implementation team
• Maintain and manage venue and venue vendor relationships

Travel

Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work during holidays.

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Sports Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in managing and producing events from inception to completion in its entirety
• Prior experience delivering complex hospitality operations at large-scale events
• Intimate knowledge of the Paris and French event and hospitality industry
• Speaks fluent French and English; other languages encouraged
• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Highly organized and process-oriented
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm in high-pressure situations
• Strong knowledge of health codes and food safety
• Presently resides in France (or is willing to relocate to France), a plus

Preferred Education and/or Experience
• Knowledge of FileMaker| Keynote | SharePoint | Smartsheets | Microsoft Teams | Zoom
• Flexibility and positive attitude to work long days, evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn software
