Position Summary/Objective:
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for maximizing the company's revenues through highly effective and efficient integrated omnichannel marketing strategies across the organization. The CMO will define, lead and execute all aspects of the company's marketing functions including: brand, consumer, communications, live event, content, digital and social media marketing. The main goal is to excite and educate the market, drive data capture, sell tickets and deliver tune-in, and convert consumers to become fans of the sport and competition.
The CMO will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will apply experience and leadership to meet established objectives, develop the organizations go-to market strategy, and oversee direct-to-consumer initiatives. The position of CMO serves as a member of PBR's Executive Leadership Team as well as a collaborative ambassador interfacing with the broader Endeavor network and its personnel.
The CMO will develop, manage and oversee national and local marketing projects and opportunities as prioritized and assigned which include, but not limited to: national marketing, event marketing, ticket sales, paid media (television, print, radio OOH digital), PR and promotional platforms, film and shoulder programming projects, new product/service launch initiatives and other projects that are cross-departmental in nature.
The CMO will manage the brand and creative services function (and team) to produce and deliver national and event related marketing materials, print/digital/radio/video advertising and other collateral that converts new fans while maximizing revenue.
The CMO will lead the consumer marketing and research activities (and team) to meet stated goals for the organization and maximize the direct-to-consumer revenue opportunities for business lines such as ticket sales, television tune-in, merchandise, loyalty, digital and other products.
The CMO will have oversight of the live event marketing activity and team which is responsible for driving the PBR's ticket sales and local marketing initiatives.
The CMO will direct the digital media function (and team) to maximize PBR's reach, customer acquisition and engagement, merchandising and monetization opportunities through digital media channels and platforms.
The CMO will guide the creation, planning, and development for the PBR's consumer events with the objective of driving new revenue streams for the business as well as consumer and partner engagement initiatives.
The CMO will work with and support the PBR Sponsorship and Partnership Marketing Team in pursuit of mutually beneficial partnership marketing programs, new sponsor acquisition, promotional platforms and concepts and other revenue driving initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Strategy Development, Planning, Tracking and Reporting of KPIs
• Work closely with cross-functional team and the larger parent company, Endeavor, to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Develop, present and execute a comprehensive and clearly defined revenue based marketing business plan that accelerate and achieve aggressive, profitable revenue goals.
• Work closely with the CEO and SVP of Sponsorship to identifying marketing strategies and opportunities to increase corporate partnership revenues and cross marketing opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive research and analysis tools that help the business identify market trends, recommend changes and provide quantitative and qualitative feedback.
• Create, monitor and optimize an institutional and system-wide marketing reporting function that can track, measure, and analyze performance against quantifiable objectives.
• Develop and implement a national TV tune-in campaign in partnership with TV partners, sponsors and other resources.
• Develop, identify and utilize social and digital technologies to be used to promote the PBR brand and create revenue opportunities where appropriate.
Brand Marketing
• Develop and implement the overall brand strategy, architecture and design throughout the PBR eco-system. Be the brand champion and leader, ensuring all stakeholders understand what makes PBR unique, differentiated, and exciting.
• Drive content marketing strategy development and execution.
Oversee the coordination and leadership of the brand and integrated marketing campaign including all planning, creative development, communication, and channel distribution.
• Build brand culture, seek to celebrate, and place the brand in non-traditional outlets/channels, telling the story beyond the white lines.
Consumer Marketing
• Leverage data & insights to develop business plans that maximize consumer lifetime value delivering; better experiences, optimized marketing, a larger funnel, & increase retention and acquisition.
• Ensure the execution of competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development
• Develop and manage CRM solutions with VP, Consumer Marketing & Insights.
• Lead strategy and execution of multi-channel & multi-phase; acquisition, renewal and retention plans.
Live Event Marketing
• Provide strategic oversight and leadership to increase profitability for 60+ annual domestic events.
• Conduct evaluations of all aspects of live event revenue and ROMI including but not limited to: marketing, advertising, promotion and earned media, research, ticket scaling, sponsorship and sales, non-traditional revenue and third party partners.
• Lead national event marketing initiatives and partnerships.
Digital
Lead digital media team in masterful storytelling to maximize PBR's reach, customer acquisition, engagement and monetization opportunities through digital media channels and platforms
• Balance use of PBR owned media assets for internal merchandising with several cross-divisional priorities.
Management and Leadership
• Provide marketing skills and expertise to the PBR by building, developing, and managing a marketing team capab
