Overall Responsibility
The role of the US Controller is to supervise, monitor and evaluate the overall accounting activities related to the production of accurate US GAAP financial statements for The Wall Group business US entities within WME Fashion. The Controller will perform varied accounting and analysis activities of a complex nature. The Controller will provide leadership to their accounting team members and business partners as well as help set a tone of strong internal controls, timeliness, and accuracy in financial reporting within WME Fashion. The individual will identify value-added opportunities; including identifying opportunities that promote standardization, efficiency and making recommendations for overall team performance improvement, in order to better serve the businesses and senior management. The individual should demonstrate empathy, flexibility and agility in adapting to changing circumstances and priorities, as required.
Key areas of responsibility
• Manage and oversee the operations of the general ledger related to The Wall Group profit centers domestically including all transactional activity, tax, and month-end reporting
• Responsible for revenue recognition/ reviewing sales information for accuracy and completeness against contracts, as well as performing correct revenue recognition procedures including monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews and reconciliations.
• Manage the bi-weekly cash forecast process and weekly disbursement requests, overseeing all receivables and payables
• Monitor and oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, reporting packs, and other various reporting requirements for all domestic The Wall Group legal entities, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure accuracy
• Aggregate information across all geographies within The Wall Group business for reporting, including but not limited to quarterly analytics, On-going Risk Assessment (ORA), Pre-Quarterly close calls, etc.
• Support internal and external audit of financial processes and statements
• Working with outsourcing partner (WNS) to ensure timely and accurate processing for O2C, P2P and R2R
• Monthly and adhoc reporting around talent billings, collections, etc.
• Calculate quarterly commission payments and handle any related commission reporting, analysis, or queries
• Lead financial planning process for The Wall Group domestically through strong partnership with business and operation teams, establishing and tracking against various KPIs and growth metrics
• Responsible for the overall work product of all direct reports while also providing timely feedback on their performances in addition to career mentorship
• Special projects as assigned (e.g., assisting with the implementation of the Company's global ERP system [SAP], integration of newly acquired businesses, ad hoc analysis, other financial system upgrades, etc.)
• Other ad-hoc corporate responsibilities (i.e., Indirect taxes)
Qualifications
• Five-10 year(s) of progressive experience in controllership & accounting
• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting required; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or MBA preferred
• Strong analytical skills, technical or operational accounting background and research skills (US GAAP)
• Experience working with multinational companies
• Knowledge of ASC 606 the revenue recognition standard for contracts of goods and/or services
• Knowledge of SOX 404 Act and the ability to design and maintain related internal controls
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills and the ability to proactively work in teams with a high attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and balance work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with high level of responsibility and ownership
• Proficient in SAP, BPC, Microsoft Excel, Financial Statements and reports

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Range Minimum:
$75,000 annually
Hiring Range Maximum:
$100,000 annually
