Job Description

Child Wrangler for Low Budget Dramedy Feature Film-"Incautious" (Chicago) 

“Incautious” Plot Summary:

A stay-at-home mother struggles to watch over her children as she finds herself addicted to alcohol and other drugs. A broken man takes out his anguish on his wife and children.


Compensation:

Deferred Payment, IMDB Credit, Meals

Rate: $250/day deferred for up to 16 shooting days

Payment: $250 deferred per 9-11 hour shooting day


Duties:

1. Ensure the physical safety of children on set, keeping them in a designated, secure, or quiet area when not filming.

2. Keeping children entertained, fed, and hydrated between takes
3. Acting as the main point of contact of contact for parents, managing expectations, and providing a comfortable, non-threatening environment for the children.

4. Assisting directors by helping children understand instructions, maintaining focus, or encouraging required emotions.

Role Requirements:

1. Show up to set on time and have good time management skills
2. The ability to plan ahead regarding the plan for working with the talent

3. Be an approachable team player

4. The ability to pay close attention to detail
