Job Description

Responsibilities
• Pitch story ideas–especially those focused on celebrity videos and photos
• Light writing for the show
• Research guests for hosts
• Pitch and produce fun games for the show
• Pitch stories that hosts can chat about on Pop of the Morning
• Keep track of guests and shoots for our weekly calendar

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience preferred in broadcast news, video production, or related internship

Desired Characteristics
• Knowledge of iNews is a plus
• Experience working with photo teams and agencies also a plus
• Control room experience
• Good people and problem-solving skills
• Strong pop culture knowledge
• Strong communication skills
• Capable of handling intense deadlines and multi-tasking
• Excellent research skills; demonstrated creativity, responsibility and organizational abilities a must
• Organized, responsible, accurate, able to work well under pressure and without constant supervision
• Team-oriented
• Hours must be flexible to accommodate breaking news
