Executive Account Director, Entertainment
I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives:
Dotdash Meredith (DDM) is seeking a seasoned advertising sales and marketing professional with a proven track record of strategically driving revenue to exceed quota. Candidate needs to be a team player who is organized, a great communicator, solutions-oriented, well versed in the digital and print space and able to work in a fast-paced and high sales volume environment for two leading brands: People and Entertainment Weekly.
II. Essential Job Functions | Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results: Increase sales, generate revenue, secure new business, continue relationship management & development.
• Oversee senior list of high-profile accounts
• Create a sustainable long-term business strategy for each account.
• Negotiate competitively to fortify over all growth strategy
• Grow existing business & proactively create new revenue streams for the Entertainment sales vertical
• Continuously educate your accounts about our value and new opportunities
• Stay up to date on relevant industry news and changes
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders (sales & marketing teams, events, account strategists, RevOps, etc)
• Provide accurate business forecasts to management.
• Manage travel and entertainment budgets within allocated budgeted amounts.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience:
• 5+ years in advertising sales
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrated ability to achieve goals and think strategically
• Knowledgeable in both digital and print ad sales
• Experience in selling 360 degree partnerships including high profile events & activations.
• Proficient in google suite
• Entertainment category experience preferred
Requirements:
• Some travel required
• Weekly client entertaining is expected.

Pay Range
Salary: $112,000 - $175,000
