Editorial Assistant, Health
Health.com is seeking an Editorial Assistant to join our team of health and editorial enthusiasts. If you are a highly organized editor and project manager, this could be the job for you. This role will be focused on supporting the editorial team in the management of content production processes, and content quality initiatives . You'll work collaboratively with the Associate Editorial Director and the editorial team to ensure work is being executed efficiently and following our editorial standards, as well as other administrative needs. You will be part of a fast-growing and collaborative team.
About Your Contributions
• With editorial teams, create new project guidelines and materials to ensure successful launch and execution of editing, medical review, and other content quality projects
• Support editorial processes and operations ensuring timeliness and accuracy
• Collaborate with the editorial team on initiatives aimed at deepening board engagement and involvement
• Monitor content updates and medical review projects and coordinate with all stakeholders to keep workflows on track and output in line with expectations
About You
• 1-2 years of editorial assistant and project management experience, including managing databases and multiple projects and priorities
• Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail and deadlines
• Must be skilled in Google Suite software, especially Sheets
• Fast learner and ability to develop expertise in workflow management systems
• Strong ability to communicate, effectively, and professionally
• Experience working directly with healthcare professionals is a plus
• College degree or equivalent work experience
