Data Engineer, 2

Primary responsibilities:
• Create Star schema data models, perform ETLs/ELT and validate results with business representatives.
• Collate raw data from various financial sources of the organization.
• Push collated data into inhouse database, run reports for dashboards and KPIs
• Support implemented BI solutions by monitoring and tuning queries (MPP database) and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues.
• Continuously interact with stakeholders to understand requirements, decide extraction logic and data visualization strategy
• Determine customization and architecture redesign based on data inputs for creating data visualization as per stakeholder requirements.
• Work with Google Cloud services such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, and S3

Required Skills Mandatory Skills:

Bachelors' degree Information Science / Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, with 3-6 years of experience in relevant field

Proficient in using Business Intelligence tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau and Schema design (only for MicroStrategy Position)

Proficient in working with OLAP databases (only for MicroStrategy Position)

Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT architecture and development

Strong knowledge of columnar database technologies such as Snowflake or Bigquery data modeling and architecture

Knowledge of Star/Snowflake schema data analysis, modeling, and architecture

Strong communication skills

Good to Have:

Ability to work with Python

Knowledge of Cloud environment such as Amazon Web Services

Knowledge of Google Looker & DBT
