Associate Director, Account Management

As an Associate Director, Account Management on Team Finance, you'll be a crucial part of the growth and overall success of the Dotdash Meredith Finance revenue organization. You will join a motivated team who are responsible for managing the success of digital ad campaigns from start to finish; including developing strategic media plans, gathering assets, and monitoring campaign delivery & performance. You will remain solutions-oriented while managing a team of direct reports and assisting top clients in the financial industry to achieve their advertising goals. You will provide training & mentorship to junior team members; as well as act as a primary point of contact for campaign-related inquiries, both internally and externally.

About Your Contributions:
• Report to and work closely with the Director, Account Management for Dotdash Meredith Finance
• Embody leadership, providing guidance and training to direct reports; ensuring their ability to successfully manage sales requests and client deliverables
• Responsible for the delivery and performance of key advertising campaigns across multiple formats, including display, native, custom content, direct response, and email
• Build and review/approve media plans and manage RFP deliverables such as plan revisions & rate negotiations
• Manage campaign setup process, including IO review, financial and legal approval
• Diligently monitor campaigns, including those managed by direct reports; proactively identify areas of opportunity or risk
• Communicate directly with high-touch clients and provide first-class service in reaching their campaign goals
• Establish process with Ad Operations & other shared services teams to ensure efficient workflows, including flawless order implementation and technical troubleshooting
• Conduct analyses to determine the best advertising inventory and packaging to include in client proposals to maximize revenue and win rate
• Provide guidance for direct reports during weekly meetings with sales reps to review metrics & upsell recommendations
• Coordinate agenda & provide updates within regular Account Management status meetings
• Present updates to the full Finance Sales org in Weekly Team Revenue meeting as requested
• Work with internal teams, including Sales Marketing and Campaign Analytics, to provide campaign wrap-up reports
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of our ad products and targeting capabilities, ensure team is kept informed of any/all updates as learnings are had
• Contribute to monthly forecast, end-of-month billing, and 3rd party reconciliation
• Oversee team processes and training, contributing to special projects as needed

About You
• 5-7 years digital media and/or account management experience
• Able to manage the needs of direct reports, while also overseeing multiple projects and campaigns with conflicting priorities, in a deadline-driven environment
• Prior experience with Google Ad Manager or other ad servers
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be a self-starter; able to work with minimal supervision to initiate and complete tasks
• Must be enthusiastic, friendly and work well under pressure
• Familiarity with performance marketing a plus
• Familiarity with native and/or content campaign execution a plus

Pay Range
Salary: $105,000 - $150,000
