About Your Role:

We are seeking an energetic Assistant Project Manager with an editorial background or skills, to join the Content Operations Team at Dotdash Meredith. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Project Manager to organize and implement editorial and fact-checking projects on a variety of Dotdash Meredith brands, with an initial focus on Home brands. Working in a team environment, the assistant project manager will coordinate with stakeholders to establish priorities, ensuring that all materials, workflows, and information are optimized to meet project timelines and that contractors are well-positioned to complete tasks successfully, on time, and within budget.

About Your Contributions:
• Work across at least five or more DDM Brands, managing contractors and assignments within the allotted budget and timeframe
• With editorial teams, create new project guidelines and materials to ensure successful launch and execution of editing, fact-checking and other content quality projects
• Monitor content update and fact-checking projects and coordinate with all stakeholders to keep workflows on track and output in line with expectations
• Deliver regular reporting to brand leadership so they are aware of progress toward goals and budget pacing
• Update and manage all project-related documentation, including goals and project schedules, so that all materials reflect current best practices and are up to date
• Track and analyze project progress and challenges, and recommend improvements to existing processes and reporting where necessary
• Communicate timeline changes and new information to content management teams and contractors, track project changes and adjust schedules as needed

About You:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, administration, or related field
• 2-3 years experience in an administrative, editorial, content marketing, or content management role
• Superior computer skills; familiarity with Content Management Systems; well-versed in Google Docs and Sheets; Airtable experience a plus
• Highly organized and professional, with keen attention to detail
• Critical thinker-always looking to make processes better and solve recurring issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work effectively under pressure and to meet strict deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects

Pay Range
Salary: $62,400 - $73,000
