VP, Account Services – HangarFour

Who We Need
HANGARFOUR, a creative service agency, seeks an experienced VP Account Services to join our team. This candidate will oversee key integrated accounts and client relationships, as well as manage the junior members of the Account Services team. This person must be able to manage projects internally, and across various accounts, so you must be a collaborator, team-oriented, and passionate. This role sits within the Account Services team and reports to the SVP of Account Services.

Job duties include:
• Leads H4 account management services and support staff and upholds the agency's standard of client service and management
• Works closely with H4 leadership to assign teams and resources to existing and future client work.
• Fosters client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource to HANGAR4 and our client(s). Provides ongoing strategic guidance, anticipates needs and troubleshoots problems on behalf of the client(s).
• When necessary, writes creative briefs and participates in creative briefings to presentation and production to final delivery of the creative.
• Understands strategy and ensures that it translates into day-to-day account activity and project management.
• Clearly establishes objectives and priorities for client initiatives – ensures teams understand these.
• Prioritizes daily/weekly workflow, with an understanding of how projects fit into larger objectives and internal staffing models.
• Oversees agency processes, including status reports and billing. Manage projects, deliver the highest quality of work on time as well as on budget, and provide timely progress reports to internal/external teams.
• Contributes to the writing and editing of materials.
• Educates themselves, as well as the team, about marketing trends and client competition.
• Manages overall account financials, including client billing, purchase orders, supplier invoicing, and expense reports. Ensures account profitability as well as agency profitability.
• Identifies efficiencies to better utilize human resources as well as agency profitability.
• Oversees vendor relations and all estimates for printing, design, and other forms of production.
• Contributes to the overall growth and creativity of the agency.

Candidates must have a 4-year degree, 8-10 years of an advertising agency or integrated marketing experience, with an eclectic portfolio of clients. You must also have a minimum of 4 years experiencing managing a team or direct reports.

This role has tremendous growth potential and the ability to contribute to the overall growth and creativity of the agency. The ideal candidate must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, creative thinking, a nurturing personality, and like getting their hands dirty.

The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience: $95k - $150k.
