Job Description
The Walt Disney Company's Disney Entertainment (DE) segment is one of the company's three core business segments, alongside ESPN and DPEP. DE also houses global advertising sales and ad technology for all Disney media properties. This centralization of ad sales provides advertisers a one-stop-shop for reaching diverse audiences across all of Disney's media properties, including its online and direct-to-consumer platforms. We are looking for a dynamic leader to take a senior role within our DE Finance organization where they will lead the Addressable Ad Sales Finance Organization. S/he will operate as a business partner to our Revenue Management, Subscription Finance, Segment finance, and global P/L leaders to provide business decision support, and in driving the transformation of our business to better serve viewers and advertisers with addressable audience based advertising. Reporting into the SVP Finance for DE, this VP Addressable Ad Sales Finance will oversee the financial management of all addressable ad sales inventory, revenues, and revenue related costs, and play a critical role in developing growth strategy for this essential revenue stream for TWDC.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Lead the integrated addressable ad sales finance team.
• Drive addressable and with emphasis on Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) ad sales operational finance for ad sales revenue, costs, and technology roadmap:
• Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
• Long Range Plan (LRP)
• Month / Quarter delivery of streamlines reporting packages and variance analysis
• Weekly DTC global KPIs across supply and revenue
• Technology roadmap reporting and project valuations
• Partner closely with the global leaders of DE, DTC, and ESPN and their teams to plan and analyze the ad sales business.
• Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to drive ad sales growth, particularly in addressable audience-based advertising.
• Partner with revenue planning team to develop and execute a yield management strategy across digital platforms.
• Evaluate ad tech investments and commercial deals.
• Partner with DTC Finance and Data Science teams to improve forecasting models, for DTC supply.
• Work collaboratively with global leaders within other segments of the Company to identify and execute strategic goals.
• Utilize effective leadership practices to attract, develop and retain top strategy talent at all levels
• Build rapport and maintain trusted relationships with leaders across the business in pursuit of strategic growth plans.
• Monitor industry trends and interpret the potential implications for the DTC business.
• Build and maintain a world class Ad Sales Strategy function.
• Create a trusted partnership with other Disney Finance and Controllership teams.
• Interprets or participates in interpreting Ad Sales financial results to DE and TWDC's top management.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
• Prior experience as a senior finance executive within a relevant digital/content/media company.
• Understanding of the ad sales marketplace and technology on digital platforms with a demonstrated ability to balance market demand and take advantage of technological opportunities and creative solutions that emerge through targeted addressable advertising and data.
• Deep expertise in DTC addressable data driven targeted ad sales.
• Proven ability to help develop and execute a yield management strategy across platforms and direct and programmatic based sources of demand.
• Experience evaluating ad tech investments and commercial deals.
• Understanding of audience data deals and ability to evaluate their ROI.
• Expertise in developing DTC forecasting models for digital supply.
• 15+ years of relevant work experience focused on Media & Entertainment / P&L Management (e.g. Consulting, strategic planning, financial analysis, or similar role).
• Is a highly experienced executive with well-established management skills.
• Has expert knowledge of financial analysis and planning, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Established expertise in directing the financial planning operations of a highly complex, diverse, international, multi-location financial organization.
• Strong people management skills as they apply to highly trained professional personnel.
• Global experience with large-scale, complex deal-making and managing stakeholders.
• Broad business acumen and proven influencing and collaboration skills
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality results within challenging timeframes and ongoing change.
• Proven ability to manage diverse teams, consider different points of view, and is culturally savvy.
• Confident and effective communicator who demonstrates deep personal character.
• Ability to think big and broad without being constrained by existing norms or business models.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, California is $245,800.00 to $337,900 per year. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
