ABC News is looking for a full time VOD Editor! This role includes clipping and distribution of short and long form ABC News video for digital platforms and clients. The ideal candidate must be able to work well both independently and in collaboration with colleagues, using editorial judgment, with high attention to detail. Experience editing with Avid Media Composer in a professional environment is required; knowledge of After Effects is a plus. Previous live news work experience is preferred.
VOD editors will work with content from ABC News network broadcasts and ABC News Live, review show rundowns, and package videos for digital platforms. This position pivots between Avid editing to web tools for CMS publishing. Packaged video assets are published to ABC News digital platforms and to a slate of distribution clients.
Must be willing to work early morning hours and weekends. Flexibility around special event and breaking news coverage.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $66,500 to $89,100 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
