More About the Role:

The Engineering Services Product Operations team is looking to hire a versatile Technical Operations Coordinator to support operational activities and improve efficiency to scale and meet growing infrastructure needs. This role is essential to coordinating procurement and delivery across Engineering, third-party vendors, and internal teams such as Business Operations, Legal, and Sourcing.

As a Technical Operations Coordinator within the Engineering Services Product Operations organization, you will be responsible for collecting, collating, and communicating data related to vendor management and business plans through the lens of engineering and technology in support of distribution for ESPN, Disney+, Hulu, ABC, and others.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal team members (Engineering, Product) to understand technology needs and equipment specifications.
• Research and source potential vendor quotes for technology products and services.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
• Track and run technology budgets and spending.
• Maintain accurate records of all technology purchases and vendor contracts.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Coordinate vendor on-boarding and act as tier 1 for partner escalations.
• Verify receipt of hardware at locations, Manage spares inventory, RMA Logistics.
• Support multi-layer knowledge of physical on-prem footprint and mapping of services/products.
• Applies professional-level technical skill and judgment to provide non-routine technical support for computer/data center operations.
• Installs, configures and fixes server and non-desktop computer hardware, software, systems and other resources in a data center or other centralized computer network setting.
• Maintains access control, data integrity and file system security for the computer/data center environment.
• Monitors, tracks and records system performance and utilization metrics.
• Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel. Recommends process, hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades, to improve computer/data center efficiency.
• May participate in development of information technology and infrastructure projects.

Required Skills and Education:
• Bachelor degree required.
• Experience working with remote and global teams is a plus.
• Experience of technical operations teams is a plus.
• Project management experience that shows how to organize, find solutions and follow through to a successful conclusion.
• Must be highly proficient in written and oral communications and be able to produce concise, relevant, strategically driven documents and presentations to leaders.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience in working in multi-functional organizations.

The hiring range for this position in New York is $73,400 to $98,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
