The Walt Disney Studios (the Studio) encompasses the creation, production, promotion, acquisition, and distribution of live-action and animated motion pictures, music, and live stage plays.
The Studio Production Services Team is responsible for title planning across all phases of production including development, pre-production, production, post-production, delivery, and release for all studios. Studios include Walt Disney Animation, Pixar, Disney Live Action, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight. This team collaborates with cross-company partners on go-to-market strategic planning for streaming and theatrical titles. We have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator, Production Services, in Burbank, CA.
The Coordinator, Production Services, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the title planning information across all studios. Core responsibilities include facilitating and maintaining key planning documents and calendars, and timely communication with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain Release Calendars for all studio content across all platforms (Theatrical, Disney+, and Hulu)
• Keep StudioONE up-to-date with the latest information from all Studio teams
• Create and manage title planning reports for all studios
• Compile agendas for monthly Production Meetings, Programming Meetings, and ad-hoc meetings
• Monitor status of creative materials and track changes
• Manage follow-ups from meetings as needed, communicating next steps, issues, and outcomes to key stakeholders
• Compile Financial Reporting for active Studio Productions in conjunction with Finance department and production schedules
• Schedule high volume of meetings, book conference rooms, catering, and other logistics
• Admin support for V ice President and Senior Manager , Studio Production Services
Qualifications:
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and interpersonal, expressing ideas, thoughts, or facts in a clear, convincing, and organized way
• Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to influence others without authority
• Ability to communicate to both creatives and senior executives. This includes experience presenting to all levels of staff, internally and externally
• Understands Project Management deliverables and provides guidance as needed to contribute to team success in completing deliverables
• Self-starter with strong initiative and proactive approach
• Highly organized and able to work independently – attention to detail is imperative
• Be adaptable and flexible to shifting priorities and partner needs
• Ability to efficiently handle a large quantity of projects and tasks simultaneously
• Problem solver with positive, can-do attitude
Education:
• BA/BS Degree or Comparable Work Experience
Job Location:
• This role is in-office based on the Studio Lot in Burbank, CA
The hiring range for this position in California is $47,900 to $64,100 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
