Eastham Studios is a cutting edge production team that creates digital content for an on demand audience. Located in a state of the art facility with best in class production tools, Eastham Studios is a team that consists of award winning producers, editors, and animators.
The Senior Producer at Eastham Studios must be well versed in all aspects of production, including development, scripting, production logistics, on-set management, wrapping, post-production, and broader production workflows.
The Senior Producer must have strong management skills, including the ability to set clear goals, coach producers, and the ability to understand and create clear workflows that work for production and other Disney departments. Senior Producers will be in charge of creating and maintaining the production pipeline for all projects. This includes managing creative strategy, managing production staff, obtaining approvals, following marketing guidelines, following brand guidelines, maintaining the approved budget, managing all deliverables, managing schedules and delivery dates, and working with the studios, other internal teams, and third-party vendors on key objectives. They will work closely with freelance producers and coordinators to ensure that our procedures are being followed, content is executed on schedule and within budget, and that their videos are on brand. This includes interviewing, hiring, assigning, training, and overseeing freelance producers and coordinators to create content for the digital content team. This role requires a strong production background with very high-level project management and problem-solving skills.
The Senior Producer will work under the Senior Manager to ensure all producers are creating quality content on time and on budget. They will work closely with the editorial and brand leads to develop creative concepts into a clear vision.
The Senior Producer will work to understand and improve overall department workflows. Candidates should have a strong creative background in storytelling with additional years of experience in the logistical aspects of production. The Senior Producer will be responsible for gauging and managing the production resources needed for the success of their team.
On camera performance as well as voice over work in social media content is required.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and managing a team of freelance producers
• Idea generation and revision in coordination with the editorial and development brand leads to create quarterly content slate
• Working closely with legal to ensure all content is being produced within company and legal guidelines
• Ensuring all projects are wrapped and actualized accurately and thoroughly by the producer
• Create the brand production schedule per quarter
Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years' experience as a digital producer, with at least 3 years of management experience.
• Expert in all aspects of production, including development, budgeting, logistics, and post.
• Understanding of digital platforms such as Youtube, Facebook and Tik Tok.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a self-starter attitude.
• Proven managerial, multitasking and problem-solving skills with the ability to adjust quickly to continually changing landscapes
• Proven track record of quality story-telling.
This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
