Job Summary

The Sr. Marketing Specialist, Media Planning, will engage in close collaboration with key stakeholders, including APAC marketing teams, local brand and performance marketing teams, external media agencies, and other marketing partners. On a daily basis, the role involves working closely with Marketing and Publicity Leads for local Disney+ titles. The responsibilities encompass planning and overseeing non-digital media campaigns, formulating creative strategies, scheduling activities, and leading stunt projects.

Moreover, the position requires close coordination with external agencies to manage campaigns and develop exceptional and impactful content. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of media platforms and trends, and the candidate is expected to serve as a thought leader well-versed in industry trends and the latest innovations. Strong passion and outstanding communication skills are essential for effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
• Formulate and execute media strategies to enhance awareness and preference for the content.
• Execute, manage, and optimize media campaigns to meet or surpass strict direct response goals.
• Optimize budgets across channels to achieve a positive return on marketing spend.
• Explore and test new media and tactics.
• Demonstrate excellent strategic planning skills, identifying, prioritizing, and articulating high-impact paid media campaigns and initiatives.
• Develop creative strategies for media executions, schedule, and collaborate with creative leads to create marketing advertisement assets.
• Coordinate with digital media leads on media and communication strategy.
• Identify new opportunities and creative stunt ideas for Disney+ titles, and oversee the execution of projects.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience in media campaign planning and operations, with a preference for managing both ATL and BTL initiatives.
• In-depth knowledge of media and creative processes.
• Exceptional budget management skills, encompassing planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to strategically assess opportunities and make data-driven decisions for tangible performance improvements.
• Adaptability and capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a robust commitment to achieving goals with excellent presentation skills.
• Outstanding collaborative, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinking capabilities to navigate complex challenges.
• Proficiency in agency management.
• Creative and innovative mindset.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Korean.
