We are seeking an Analyst to join our regional Content Analytics team in APAC. The primary focus of this role is to analyse user data, derive valuable insights, and collaborate with various departments to develop strategies that inform our content slate and ultimately enhance user experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analytics techniques used for analyzing large data sources. Plus an understanding of how different consumer behaviors relate to the consumption of a variety of content e.g. genres, tastes etc.

Areas of responsibility:
• Operational and executive level reporting of KPIs relating to the performance of the content offering. Ensuring accurate level of reporting in a timely manner.
• Continuously drive toward efficiency by simplifying and automating where possible; eliminating redundancy across the organization; and building new reports as needed to support decision-making.
• Work with other members of the analytics team to align metric definitions across all services within the business. In so doing, improve the general data literacy of the DTC organization by effectively communicating data concepts and standards to a non-technical audience.
• Collaborate with multiple functional groups to understand the priority needs of the business; refine requirements; and translate them to a customized SQL query.
• Maintain long-term dialogue with various business teams to develop strategic hypotheses, structure analytics approaches to test these, and deliver data-based recommendations.
• Analyze user streaming data to identify patterns, uncover opportunities, and create a common understanding of how different cohorts are interacting with content.
• Assure quality and accuracy of deliverables through adherence to privacy, governance standards, and analytics best practices.

We are looking for the following experience:
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a digital business.
• Experience and working proficiency in SQL. Underpinned by a solid understanding of data structures and general analytics principles.
• Experience with data visualization and any associated tools e.g. Looker, Tableau, Thinkcell etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and how to structure an efficient data workbook.
• Experience with PowerPoint to create effective slides that tell a data-driven narrative and can be communicated to a range of audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field including Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics or Social Science. Graduate degree preferred but not essential.
• Fluent in English and Korean.
