About the Role & Team

The Senior Manager, Production Cultural Initiatives will have the opportunity to work with Disney Entertainment Television (DET) production leadership, writers' rooms, cast and crew! This Senior Manager will lead and develop culture activations, trainings and strategies and will work closely to align with internal partners like Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Creative Talent Development & Inclusion (CTDI), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), as well as external vendors/consultants to provide proactive support for the productions to enhance inclusion efforts, create wellness strategies and help build cultural proficiencies in the production space. This individual will report to the Vice President, HRBP Productions and be a key collaborator across the production HRBP team, cementing processes and support partners with the goal of enhancing the physical production culture holistically. What You Will Do
• Partner closely with CTDI, DEI, CSR on outreach, inclusion and engagement efforts in the production space.
• Develop and deploy inclusion, wellness and cultural competency strategies across all productions.
• Empower show leaders to utilize resources to elevate their leadership and impact culture on their respective productions.
• Partner with the Production HRBP team to provide ongoing SME (subject matter expertise) coaching and guidance to show leadership when needed.
• Research, vet and partner with external organizations to provide specialized support on productions based on identified need.
• Co-create and facilitate specialized workshops, trainings or activations for any unique production needs.
• Develop cultural and leadership learning solutions for production leadership & cast and crew in lieu of instructor-led workshops (e.g., online modules, vignettes, etc.).
• Manage tax-incentive program qualifications process from a DEI perspective on productions.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• 7+ years of experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, human resources, or a people development role
• Expertise in coaching, facilitating, training, wellness and/or DEI
• Have an ability to connect with people, 'read' rooms and differentiate intent from impact
• Ability to ask hard questions, champion change and experiment with new ideas
• Ability to embrace candor, transparency and collaboration
• Have high trust/integrity and operate with discretion
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to encourage, empower and lead
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
• Understanding of the production environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Self-starter with passion, energy and enthusiasm for making change in a large organization
• Experience with collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams/SharePoint & Slack) or ability to learn new technology

Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $165,700 to $202,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
