Job Title: Sr Analyst, Performance Marketing
Performance Marketing is an internal cross-functional team within The Walt Disney Studios Marketing organization . The Performance Marketing team leverages developing and maturing ad technologies to achieve remarkable data-driven results within auction-based or otherwise addressable media platforms while supporting other paid media and marketing efforts with insights, recommendations, and innovative marketing technologies . Performance Marketing includes Marketing Technology and Marketing Science who help drive innovation, but also includes Performance Marketing Strategy & Operations, Marketing Analytics, and Marketing Compliance who ground the overall team in the business . Together, we strive and collaborate for continuous improvement in advertising effectiveness and efficiency while protecting and enhancing the magical brands of The Walt Disney Studios .
This role falls within the Performance Marketing Strategy & Operations team and will work directly with performance marketing activation partners to drive value for The Walt Disney Studios.
Job Responsibilities:
For the current position, the Performance Marketing team is looking to add an analyst to a performance marketing pod with a background in performance marketing strategy and operations .
• Working directly under and with a Senior Team Lead to build and implement performance marketing strategy for a select number of theatrical and streaming titles including operations, optimizations, audiences, pacing, and bids across Disney Entertainment Studio Content Marketing campaigns
• Build and implement holistic, omni-platform audience data strategy - inclusive of first-party, second-party, and third-party data
• Build and implement auction bid, pacing, and optimization strategies to improve media performance
• Monitor and track performance marketing budgets for testing, analytics, measurement and contingency
• Monitor testing setup within ad platforms to ensure success of test campaigns
• Monitor taxonomies and inputs in ad buying platforms to ensure clean data ingestion and processing
• Interpret, analyze and share analyses and learnings from titles, data testing and performance marketing campaigns in partnership with Marketing Science and Media Agency Analytics teams
• Working cross-functionally with multiple internal media and marketing teams as well as our external media agency to continuously improve and achieve success across all marketing efforts
• Participating as a member of a cohesive and collaborative, cross-functional Performance Marketing team
• Participate in day-to-day communication with the media agency performance marketing activation teams in order to ensure proper implementation of performance marketing campaign
• Support internal teams when necessary with ad hoc projects
• Maintain knowledge of media technology, buying platforms and analytics tools with pod members and other relevant business stakeholders
• Maintain knowledge of performance marketing business processes with pod members and other relevant business stakeholders
Required/Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years in Advertising Media (primarily Digital Media), Media Analytics or Social/Programmatic Auction Buying
• Experience with ad platforms including DMPs, Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Innovid , LiveRamp and DSPs (Google DV360, Trade Desk, Verizon Media Group)
• Excellent a nalytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-organized, detailed-oriented individual
• Understanding of ad technology ecosystem
• Proficiency with Excel
• Proven ability to work across multiple projects effectively that meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking and implementation
• Ability to work on-site in Burbank, in a hybrid capacity
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with cross functional teams
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $104,600 to $140,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
