Job Description
The Customer Support and Insights (CSI) team is seeking a Senior Engineer to help design and build a scalable and highly available CRM to support customer retention goals. CSI provides user-friendly tools for our Viewer Experience team to help customer support agents troubleshoot and address our customers' issues across our suite of Disney Streaming products (Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Star+, NHL). CSI also provides insights tooling to assist internal engineering and operations staff in platform and process decision making.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Product and the Viewer Experience team alongside other talented and friendly engineers to design and implement CRM solutions for our stakeholders
• Write, test and release robust and scalable production-ready applications using the latest web technologies
• Integrate third-party applications into our application suite
• Troubleshoot production issues

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years as full-stack software developer
• Proficiency with Java, Scala, Python, or Javascript
• Knowledge of web technologies such as CSS, React JS, Material UI, and Javascript/Typescript
• Knowledge of AWS and related services such as Lambda, Elasticsearch, Kinesis, SQS, Kafka, and DynamoDB
• The ability to jump into a project, build, and contribute immediately to both architecture and implementation
• Great communication, strong teamwork ethic, and a knack for mentoring others
• Strive for excellence, with attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with deployment tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.
• Ability to monitor and troubleshoot distributed systems and quickly resolve incidents.
• Experience with modern unit and integration testing frameworks and strategies.
