Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing (Hulu)

We are currently seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing to lead customer engagement and retention initiatives for Hulu. You'll develop and execute high-impact multi-channel Lifecycle campaigns and programs that drive subscriber growth, reduce churn, and increase engagement across our Hulu audience.

Responsibilities
Lifecycle Strategy:
• Own the end-to-end customer journey from onboarding to retention and win-back.
• Develop lifecycle strategies tailored to viewer behavior, content preferences, and subscription tiers.
• Proactively identify new opportunities based on business and consumer trends as well as industry best practices.
Campaign Management:
• Design campaigns across email and push to promote new releases, personalized recommendations, and exclusive content.
• Partner with other Hulu Marketing teams to scale Lifecycle campaigns and insights across channels (e.g. Performance, Social, Devices).
• Partner with content, product, and data teams to align messaging with content drops, seasonal trends, and user engagement patterns.
Churn Reduction & Retention:
• Build predictive models and trigger-based campaigns to proactively address churn risk.
• Test incentives, messaging, and timing to improve subscriber stickiness.
• Track and proactively address key churn moments (e.g. season finales, price increases).
Analytics & Optimization:
• Partner with Finance and Business Strategy to inform our Engagement & Retention forecasts and manage performance to hit annual targets.
• Define KPIs such as Hours, Visits, actives.
• Use tools like Tableau and Excel to analyze performance and iterate on strategy.
Team Leadership:
• Manage a small team of lifecycle marketers and collaborate with creative, product, and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years in Lifecycle marketing, or related field.
• At least 2 years in streaming, media, or subscription-based businesses.
• Deep understanding of audience segmentation, behavioral targeting, and personalization.
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
• This role requires employees to be onsite four days a week, currently out of our Santa Monica, CA location, with a planned office move to our Burbank, CA location in 2026.

• Experience developing executive level presentations.
• Project management experience.
• Understanding of content consumption behavior.
• Passion for entertainment.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA is $137,200 to $183,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
