Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company's new Direct to Consumer video entertainment service targeted to families. The service consists of long form and short form video built around six key content brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star) with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g. televisions, mobile devices).

The Disney+ team is responsible for the roll out and ongoing performance and operations of Disney+ across EMEA, specifically focused on programming strategy, marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships, research, and analytics.

We are looking for a senior analyst to join our Disney + Analytics & Insights EMEA team. Working within the Content Analytics team, this role will be delivering timely insight to inform initiatives across Disney+ EMEA, utilising our vast data to discover opportunities to optimise our content proposition to best meet the needs of our customers. Using your analytical experience and expertise you will be developing a deep knowledge of what best resonates with our customers and with your storytelling expertise collaborating with key business partners to bring those insights to life.

Areas of Responsibility
• Deliver timely analysis and insight to support the Programming team in EMEA in order to gain a deep understanding of our content performance. This will be achieved through proactive identification of opportunities and applying the right tools and techniques for each piece of analysis.
• Utilise advanced analytics methodologies and models to understand user behaviour and content performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to monitor key metrics and provide regular updates on content performance to stakeholders.
• Support training of teams to adopt self-serve and interpret data insights, encouraging a data-led decision making mindset.
• Be proactive in identifying opportunities to improve processes and creating new ones, acknowledging opportunities when automatable scalable solutions are required and when one off analytics is best placed.
• Develop relationships across the Analytics and business teams at regional and local level, in particular the Programming team, as well as within the Global Analytics team to align on key priorities and targets.
• Closely manage requests coming through, liaising with stakeholders to deliver analysis in a timely, impactful manner.

Experience and Professional Qualifications Required
• 5+ years of analytical insight experience
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field including Marketing, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Social Science graduate degree preferred
• Excellent stakeholder management with experience of dealing with senior level individuals.
• Ability to explain complex ideas in a simple manner.

Skills & Competencies Required
• Top class analytical mindset, with ability to QA others' work and ensure consistent and robust work is delivered, being able to draw on the wide range of analytical tools and types of insight available.
• Extensive experience using SQL essential.
• Python/R or other statistical programming language experience a plus.
• Experience in data vi sualization and dashboard development e.g. Looker or Tableau.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Flexibility in approach, using creative solutions in designing analysis where necessary.
• Ability to think strategically, analyse and interpret market and consumer data.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills.
• Collaborative working style with desire to share knowledge that enables the entire team.
• Agility to handle evolving demands.
• Ability to work autonomously, handling multiple projects and hitting key deadlines.
