About the RoleAt The Walt Disney Company, we believe in the power of storytelling-and in the power of connection. As our Media Advertising Sales Specialist for Disney+ Italy, you'll help shape how brands engage with audiences across our digital platforms, including Disney+, YouTube, and Meta.
This is a dynamic opportunity to support managing client relationships, drive revenue growth, and deliver innovative, cross-platform advertising solutions that bring campaigns to life in ways only Disney can. Reporting into our Digital Sales Manager, you'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team that's passionate about creativity, performance, and building long-term partnerships in the Italian media landscape.
4 days in the office, with either Monday or Friday working from home. The internal job title will be Digital Sales Supervisor.
What You'll Do
• Support in driving advertising revenue across Disney+ and other media platforms, exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
• Build and nurture multi-level relationships with media agencies and clients, with a focus on planning and buying teams.
• Proactively pitch and sell multi-platform content packages and seasonal campaign-led solutions.
• Lead the full campaign workflow .from media plan creation and presentation to post-sale reporting.
• Deep knowledge of planning in programmatic (Guaranteed, pmp…)
• Familiarity with the main Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) available on the market and have a good understanding of programmatic opportunities
• Utilise advertising technology and data to provide accurate forecasting and performance reporting to your line manager.Keep sales systems and tools (e.g., Salesforce) updated and optimized.
• Collaborate with Ad Operations, Finance, and Content Promotions teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end campaign execution.
• Organize events, roadshows, and hospitality initiatives for media agencies and clients.
• Stay informed on market trends and use insights to shape sales narratives and strategy.
What You'll Bring
• Demonstrable experience in media sales, ideally within a major broadcaster or media owner.
• Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, including VOD, BVOD, SVOD, and Connected TV.
• Knowledge of planning models such as Direct IO, Programmatic Guaranteed, and PMP.
• Proven success in supporting the management of agency/client portfolios and growing investment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both Italian and English.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and media analytics tools.
• Familiarity with Brand Lift studies, Nielsen, IAS, and DoubleVerify.
• Demonstrate a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
• Collaborative spirit with the ability to work across departments.
