Product Marketing Manager

Disney Streaming is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to support Disney+ and the Disney Bundle Product Marketing Growth and Commerce efforts, focusing primarily on new user acquisition. This person will play a vital role in crafting Disney+ and Disney Bundle product marketing strategy, partner closely with product and engineering teams, and help bring said strategies to life across Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ marketing and product touchpoints.

The ideal candidate has a deep knowledge of and a passion for the digital media and entertainment landscape. While this role will focus primarily on acquisition tactics, the candidate should have a clear understanding of the full marketing funnel and be knowledgeable about designing experiments and deriving insights from data with the ultimate goal of growing an engaged audience for Disney+ and the Disney Bundle.

The Product Marketing Manager needs to be an exceptional collaborator and communicator, who is able to manage several concurrent projects across many markets globally with minimal oversight.

The candidate should be passionate about Disney and the Disney Bundle brands (Disney+, Hulu, & ESPN+).

Responsibilities:
• Independently develop product marketing strategies and roadmaps that drive new user acquisition for Disney+ and the Disney Bundle for key business initiatives and product priorities. Execute against those strategies with minimal oversight.
• Lead discussions with key cross functional partners across the organization (product, brand, marketing strategy, performance media, lifecycle, finance, analytics and design) to develop holistic product marketing strategies that drive positive financial impact for the business.
• Lead messaging strategy across Marketing Landing Pages, connected TV devices, and the commerce flow for new subscriber acquisition of Disney+ and the Disney Bundle.
• Partner with the Landing Page Optimization team to develop a testing strategy across product marketing touchpoints that optimizes conversions and operating income. Execute against those strategies with minimal oversight.
• Lead cross functional teams in the development of strategies and methods to quantify the growth impact of all new subscriber acquisition growth and commerce team initiatives. Report out to leadership on performance on a regular cadence.
• Analyze research and customer care insights to identify user pain points and develop strategies for optimization.
• Develop new inroads, strategic levers, and monetization efforts to drive new subscriber growth for Disney+ and the Disney Bundle.

Basic Qualifications:
• 4+ years of Marketing experience with a basic understanding of Product and Development workflows, preferably with Product Marketing experience in subscription based streaming services.
• Experience partnering with Product and/or Engineering teams preferred.
• Experience managing and driving projects end to end successfully against tight deadlines.
• Collaborative leader comfortable with complex, cross-functional projects across teams, promotions, and products.
• Ability to simplify and translate product requirements into marketing requirements, and vice versa.
• Experience with Content Management Systems a plus but not required.
• Understanding of creative strategy and experience working directly with Creative teams to execute on acquisition and engagement-driving marketing materials.
• Multi-channel marketing experience with a thorough understanding of acquisition, partnership, engagement, and retention tactics; Clear understanding of full funnel marketing, digital media KPIs and attribution.
• Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high impact marketing initiatives.
• Comfortable working in a cross-collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic working environment, supporting new products/businesses with many unique partners, identifying synergistic opportunities to marry team needs.
• This candidate needs to be an exceptional communicator, and be able to execute several concurrent projects in partnership with many leadership stakeholders and cross functional teams with minimal oversight.
• Proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and is a strong problem solver.
• Strong analytical skills including the ability to read & analyze data, prepare and interpret reports for Marketing leadership, and communicate actionable results, findings and recommendations.
• Balance of creative and analytical thinking.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience partnering with Product teams to prioritize Marketing asks
• Proven track record of delivering growth from multiple digital marketing sources and executing key analyses with minimal supervision.
• Experience driving cross-functional team alignment and strategic planning
• Experience coordinating marketing assets and approvals
• A proactive self-starter capable of working independently, but also as part of a team
• A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done
• Passion for the digital media and entertainment space, and the Disney brand.

The hiring range for this position in NY is $104,200.00 to $143,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
