Job Description
This position sits within Media Group Decision Sciences, a team with a charter to provide valuable insights that enable decision-making across NBCU's TV networks, FAST channels, and Peacock. In this high-impact role, you'll deliver actionable insights that shape deal-making strategies with major distributors. You'll dive into audience data, identify industry trends, and lead performance reporting for NBCU's growing FAST business. Responsibilities
• Partner with the NBCUniversal Content Distribution Group to develop data-driven insights supporting distribution deal negotiations with external partners.
• Leverage third-party data sources (e.g., Nielsen) and internal expertise to create compelling content strategy and product positioning materials.
• Develop and maintain recurring reports tracking marketplace and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making.
• Lead analytics and performance reporting for NBCUniversal's FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) business, including the creation of executive-level dashboards and insights.
• Collaborate with Data Products and Technology teams to enhance reporting infrastructure and drive scalable, automated analytics solutions.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline analysis, improve reporting accuracy, and surface strategic insights across distribution channels.
• Contribute to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work culture at NBCU.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in media, insights, strategy, consulting, or a related function (exposure to media industry highly preferred).
• Proven experience with audience measurement tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore) and syndicated research.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
