Job Description
The Disney Entertainment Television Marketing Post Producer is a critical part of our Marketing Operations team. In this role, you will use your comprehensive knowledge of audio and video post-production processes. You'll oversee, track, and manage all aspects of finishing marketing videos including color correction, titling, narration, mix sessions, QC/fixes, from receipt through to creation of final assets. You must be able to prioritize and adjust to shifting deadlines and workloads. You will be the main point of contact for a range of vendors, agencies, and teams, both internally and externally. You will contribute to build a strong collaborative environment to support creative teams across the Walt Disney Television Group to deliver our world class content to our viewers globally.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with creative and production teams to maintain a smooth workflow
• Communicate effectively with postproduction and creative teams, including vendors, creative executives and designers, to ensure marketing content is finished according to due dates.
• Order or reconcile necessary graphics and ensure correct and timely delivery of elements
• Assign and distribute workload to finishing teams according to deadlines, priorities, and readiness of creative elements
• Track and provide detailed documentation of production progress and any issues
• Coordinate, direct and participate in voiceover sessions with creative teams
• Update scripts as needed to match final output NA/Depends on rotation
• Marry video and audio to create final asset
• Final quality control of content for creative vision and integrity, brand standards, correct audio mix, and correct titling and graphic information according to destination requirements.
• Obtain final creative sign-off
• Provide input and suggestions to enhance our existing workflow
Basic Qualifications
• 3+ years' experience in Marketing Post Production or content Post Production; experience with marketing teams and streaming services a plus.
• Detailed knowledge of the post production process including color grading, online, visual effects, titling, mixing and some offline knowledge
• Understanding of various types of media, file types, EDLs and delivery specifications
• Experience working in Adobe Premiere/Apple Final Cut Pro.
• Technically savvy and proficient in use of computers required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Must have good work ethic; Ability to regularly rotate between day and night shifts. Some weekend work required. (Required)
• Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the LA office. This onsite position requires attendance at least 4 days per week. The role will relocate to the Burbank, CA office by the end of FY25.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles/Burbank, CA is $71,000.00 to $85,100.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
