Non-Theatrical Sales Representative

Disney Studios Non-Theatrical is a business unit within Disney Entertainment that sells and facilitates content sales in the non-theatrical and repertory release windows (post-theatrical release).

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and relationship building experience. This role thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is a strong contributor to the achievement of departmental goals by coordinating with internal departments and external business partners. The Sales Representative role will engage in direct sales, facilitate content deliveries to outside customers and agents, and manage accounts receivables. The role will also include responsibilities for accounts payables, researching rights and availabilities, and contract review or marketing materials clearance with our legal department.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate direct sales with repertory and other non-theatrical customers including checking rights and materials availability (DCP and 35mm)
• Manage A/R for the Repertory theatres (Including Searchlight) and related Box Office Report entry, plus monitoring monthly royalty reports from agents
• Coordinate marketing, accounts payables, legal, and operations needs for the department.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

Basic Qualifications:
• At least 3 years relevant entertainment industry experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to build relationships
• Excellent time management and decision making skills
• Organized team player with the ability to manage concurrent projects with attention to detail and related analytics
• Bachelor's degree
• Applicant must have advanced spreadsheet skills (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets)
• General and working knowledge of movies and the entertainment industry, both historical and current

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA location is $72,505 - $93,830 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
