This position requires you to be in the office 4 days per week.
You will be responsible for the development and deployment of industry-leading, insight-driven and platform-led EMEA regional strategy and guidance for all Studio Content – including Theatrical and Direct-to-Consumer (Disney+) – across the following brands: Disney, Walt Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel Studios, LucasFilm and 20th Century Studios.
Supporting the two brand-led Senior Managers for Studio Strategy EMEA and the Senior Marketing Manager DTC, this role is responsible for the development and roll-out of EMEA regional strategy and campaign plans and reporting for both Studio Theatrical and Studio DTC content.
You will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager DTC and collaborate closely with the rest of the EMEA regional marketing team and functions to ensure clear and timely communications both to the international Studio Marketing team in Burbank and downstream to EMEA local teams.
You need to co-ordinate planning with peers and will be expected to build excellent relationships with counterparts across the London office, with the US teams and be a key point of contact for local market colleagues.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities
• Deliver innovative and insight-driven content strategies to local markets for activation and execution.
• Support the relevant brand-led Senior Manager Studio Strategy and, for DTC titles, the Senior Marketing Manager DTC, in the development of Theatrical and DTC title-specific strategy and communications guidance – including ideation, setting campaign objectives, allocating budget, compiling the media brief/strategy, incorporation of audience insights, prior-campaign analysis and deployment of strategy documents to relevant stakeholders.
• Partner with the EMEA Media team to develop and deliver regional media guidelines for each Theatrical and DTC campaign.
• Collate local market campaign plans for reporting purposes, including sharing best practice examples across the region when appropriate, and seek feedback to create recommendations for improvements to regional guidance and process for future campaigns.
• On DTC titles, support the EMEA Senior Marketing Manager DTC with campaign budget management, including tracking in-flight changes and ensuring plans and reporting documents are kept up to date.
• Under the direction of the EMEA Senior Marketing Manager DTC, collate and distribute daily / weekly performance updates and insights for DTC campaigns to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with London-based Studio stakeholders across Media, Insights, Digital, Creative, Publicity and Partnerships to ensure information is shared on time and accurately.
• Act as a key day-to-day point of contact for local Studio Content Marketing campaign requirements.
• Understand the direct competitive environment from a content perspective (Theatrical and Streaming) and support EMEA Studio Commercial Analysis & Insights lead to build out market-based learnings and guidance.
• Represent Studio Marketing in regional XLOB meetings as required and recommend opportunities to enhance awareness for Studio campaigns.
• Build positive working relationships with the Studio Strategy Supervisor and Intern, and help ensure the team is motivated and enthused, while fostering a strong sense of trust and camaraderie.
• Attend relevant training as required.
