Job Description
NOTE: This is initially an 12-month FTC (covering maternity leave) and requires you to be in the office 4 days per week.

You will be responsible for the development of insight driven UK marketing strategies and best in class campaigns for Disney+ - both overarching brand campaigns, and IP specific content campaigns.

The individual will have day to day responsibility for the UK activity alongside the other UK marketing manager, and be expected to work collaboratively with the wider Disney+ marketing departments including research, analytics, PR, performance, social, partnerships & creative, to develop integrated strategies & plans.

They will be an expert on the UK market – understanding the paid media landscape, our audiences & their behaviours and the TV/SVOD & broader entertainment industry on the whole.

The Opportunity & Responsibilities
• Create and execute industry leading, innovative & effective marketing campaigns for Disney+ - with a strong focus on paid media - at a brand and specific IP (content) level, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget
• Manage and own the end to end campaign planning process including internal and external briefings, implementation and post-campaign reporting & analysis, ensuring learnings and recommendations flow into future activity
• Day to day management of the media agency, building a strong and trusted partnership to ensure continued innovative and effective campaigns
• Presenting marketing plans to senior stakeholders (Director, VP & SVP level) on a regular basis
• Detailed campaign budget management, tracking purchase orders, managing vendors, and supporting the Snr Marketing Manager with quarterly financial planning
• Partner with the performance & retention teams to ensure media plans are connected and intertwined with their activity
• Be a key point of contact for the publicity team to ensure we are aligned and maximising brand and content publicity opportunities
• Be an expert on attitudes and behaviours of key UK audiences and where and how to connect with them
• Understand the competitive environment from both a platform and content perspective (TV, SVOD & Theatrical), applying insights to gain competitive advantage.
• Line manage and mentor members of the marketing team to ensure team is motivated, enthused and excited.

The Experience We Require From You
• Ability to formulate & manage high profile marketing campaigns
• Strong knowledge of paid media channels – both online & offline
• Experience working with sizeable budgets
• Previous agency management experience
• Previous budget management experience
• Experience working within, or strong passion for, the entertainment industry (TV, SVOD or Theatrical)
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
