Disney Theatrical Productions is seeking a Manager, Technical Production reporting to the Director, Technical Production. In this role, you will support the technical needs of ongoing domestic and international productions.

Responsibilities:
• Support Director, Technical Production with development of new productions and other projects as directed.
• Function as point of contact for certain existing productions with regards to on-going operations, with a view towards improving efficiency and future-proofing long-running productions.
• Stand-in for Director, Technical Production when unable to be present (meetings, shop visits, venue surveys, load-ins, etc).
• Understand, review and create written and verbal project briefs, including review and interpretation of drawings to assure all technical and creative specifications are met (including technical specifications, technical riders, design reviews, etc).
• Extensive involvement in on-going efforts to document existing productions and improve on overall archival initiatives.
• Assist with training and recruitment of new technical team staff members.
• Liaise with design team, technicians, managers, and other stakeholders in support of above mandates.
• Continue to develop and expand on Disney's vendor database.
• Take the lead in certain R&D projects, technical equipment demonstrations, etc as directed.
• Other duties as assigned by Director, Technical Production.

Qualifications:
• Professional experience in large commercial musicals, particularly on touring productions with tight schedules.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (and ideally Vectorworks).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project).
• Ability to handle multiple mandates concurrently, prioritize appropriately, and deliver an appropriate finished product, within time restrictions and other constraints.
• Ability to travel regularly (domestically and internationally), typically for 2-3 weeks at a time, exceptionally up to 2 months.
• Excellent communication skills for a variety of collaborators.

The hiring range for this position in New York is $76,200 to $98,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
