Manager, Production Operations (Disney Entertainment Television)
The Manager of Production Operations for Disney Entertainment Television will support the production organization by leading cross-functional operational initiatives, overseeing strategic reporting, and managing high-visibility events and projects across Disney Entertainment Television. This role ensures leadership is equipped with accurate, timely information and that organizational workflows function cohesively across studios and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Reporting & Information Management
• Own weekly and ad-hoc production reporting (via Airtable), gathering current information from Production, Post, and Finance. Prepare tailored reports for high level meetings with senior executives across the company.
• Monitor active and upcoming projects to keep Production leadership informed on development materials, budgets, calendars, milestones, and key creative updates.
• Track releases, premieres, and set-visit opportunities to inform leadership engagement and strengthen studio/talent relationships.
Event & Onsite Leadership
• Plan and execute Leadership Onsites (minimum 4 annually), including agenda planning with Learning and Development Team, departmental coordination, and vendor and budget management.
• Lead departmental events such as holiday gatherings and initiatives, volunteer days, learning lunches, and team-building experiences.
• Manage special events (e.g., Women's Production Society breakfasts, VIP studio tours).
Cross-Functional Operations & Stakeholder Management
• Serve as liaison to senior leaders and partner departments to drive alignment on cross-functional initiatives (e.g. DET AI Education Sessions, partner presentations).
• Lead ad hoc operational projects such as strike readiness grids, production hiatus tracking, show-by-region analyses, and quickly compiling tailored show-information summaries for internal/external stakeholders as needed.
• Provide research and prepare briefing materials for internal and external meetings, including talking points and stakeholder context.
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of experience in production operations or a related field.
• Proficiency in Airtable for production reporting.
• Strong project management skills with experience in event planning and execution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $93,200 to $128,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
