In this role, the Manager, HR Project Mgt will execute human resources strategies and tactics to support the needs of the Disney Streaming Businesses. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the partners. He or she will serve as a consultant to business leaders on talent matters, including organizational effectiveness, leader effectiveness, organizational design, and learning needs/opportunities. This role will also largely focus on consolidating and creating complex reporting used to help across the HR team and will work closely with a team of HR Specialists to create best-in-class processes to innovate processing and back-end procedures. Manager, HR Project Mgt will help lead and facilitate HR programs and strategies to support the client groups through collaboration with HR leadership, HR specialty groups, and other HR business.
Responsibilities:
• Project Manager, develop and drive the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that align with the business priorities and goals.
• Supports establishing and maintaining an intimate understanding of the client organizations and the business to build effective and productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and clients at all levels of the organization.
• Consolidate and help process implementation and improvement of HR policies, processes, and programs (e.g., merit and promotion, planning, performance management, career development, headcount planning, etc.)
• Partner with HR Business Partners and Workforce Insights to oversee employee surveys, review results analysis, provide recommendations, and support the action-planning process.
• Collaborate with HR Specialists, GHRO, Org Management, and a team of HR Specialists to refine data reporting, processing, and data innovation across teams.
Basic Qualifications:
• Excellent consulting, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills
• Practical, proactive, and action-oriented mind-set
• Team player who quickly builds trust with business leaders as well as other HR partners
• Ability to manage simultaneous priorities and offer creative solutions
• Basic knowledge of employment and labor laws required
• Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders through integrity and commitment
• Comfortable navigating through ambiguity while solving complex problems with high business impact
• Desire to be on a fun, high functioning team in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Advanced experience of Microsoft tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and word
• Ability to manage multiple projects across different roadmap timelines
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with Workday
This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
