Job Description
Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Marketing is a dynamic, results-driven marketing team responsible for positioning films and streaming content released by Disney (live action), Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios.   This organization oversees the Studios' global marketing strategy encompassing creative, media, digital, international, promotions, publicity, research, special events, and synergy, and handles some the most valuable film brands and franchises of all time.

This position requires an understanding of the social media landscape and will work on theatrical and streaming title lifecycle projects (global and domestic) across Marvel Studios, 20th Century Studios, Disney Studios as well as select evergreen digital titles.

The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports and reports to the Senior Manager, working in conjunction with the Specialist, on the development and execution of comprehensive digital campaigns for the theatrical, streaming, Pay 1 and in-home windows. The position also requires direct collaboration other departments across the studio marketing organization.

This position may require some non-traditional working hours (early morning/weekends), light travel and on field level work at events, including premieres, screenings & junkets.

Responsibilities:

Campaign Management
• Post social content and write copy (in conjunction with the Specialist), for multiple profiles within Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok along with emerging social platforms
• Support Specialist and Senior Manager in evolution/management of social editorial calendar for all digital platforms and across multiple Disney+, Hulu, theatrical titles, and select animation brand/evergreen content. This includes, but is not limited to writing select campaign copy, and engaging with fans.
• Spearhead select project creative including GIFs (with Tenor and Giphy), original stickers, original emojis, Instagram Effects, Activity Sheets, milestone CRMs.
• Provide creative feedback to select international markets' digital campaigns, as directed by Director.
• Assist with select unpaid influencer programs including, but not limited to, experiential event invites, early access to key digital programs, etc.
• Provide search deliverables (files, doc completion) to media team while in-window for active titles
• Captures and posts select live-event content as defined by the Director for junkets, premieres, etc.
• Manages weekly cross-department campaign tracker in Riley with Digital-specific updates and key information.

Asset Management
• Track and distribute campaign assets for debuts and cross promotion opportunities for synergy partners
• Track/assist in content approvals for select animation brand/evergreen content.
• Spearhead asset management and deliveries for materials for global debuts and global content for the markets

Evergreen Social and Digital Management
• Attend weekly informational meetings with corresponding brand digital and share/update calendars with key content and deliverables
• Deliver assets to brand teams for support

Qualifications:
• Relevant experience, including internships, in digital marketing or any related fields required
• Experience creating/executing successful multi-platform digital marketing/media campaigns
• Strong working knowledge of social media, digital ad inventory and mobile behaviors/opportunities
• Experience with creating content with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Premiere, as well as popular content creation mobile apps (e.g. CapCut, InShot)
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Creative copywriting experience and visual design skills

The hiring range for this position in California is $51,200 to $70,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
