Coordinator, Creative Talent Development & Inclusion (Disney General Entertainment)
The Creative Talent Development and Inclusion (CTDI) department is seeking a qualified candidate for Coordinator. We're looking for someone who can juggle multiple projects and add support and admin to the team. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions. Must have clear and effective communication skills, and good attention to detail are crucial.
Primary Responsibilities
• Coordinate and attend writer and director general meetings for potential staffing
• Responsible for coordinating internal staff meetings
• Assist in maintaining relationships professionally with agency and studio counterparts
• Participate in notes calls with studio executives, producers, and heads of organizations
• Track and read incoming material
• Prepare documents and take notes during department meetings and retreats
• Help in creating presentations for the department when needed
• Act as the liaison between company executives and production offices to make sure the needs and questions of both are addressed
• Track and evaluate staffing requests
• Work to identify, track, and build relationships with new and credentialed ATL (above the line) writing, and directing talent, as well at BTL (below the line) crew positions
Basic Qualifications
• A minimum 1 year of previous administrative assistant experience at a studio, network, production company or talent agency
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must work well under pressure
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Superior attention to detail
• Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Someone with a passion for television and the desire for a career in TV
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel; a working knowledge of Airtable would be a plus
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $53,300.00 to $71,300.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
