Job Description
The Walt Disney Studios is looking for a Compensation professional to assist with the implementation and administration of compensation policies and programs. The Compensation Analyst will partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Labor Planning, and Enterprise partners to deliver comprehensive program management and guidance on compensation administration. They will conduct and participate in internal and external market surveys to collect and analyze salary information. The Compensation Analyst will play a pivotal role in the Annual Compensation Planning process. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be able to make sound recommendations, including identifying alternative solutions related to all aspects of employee pay.

Responsibilities :
• Evaluates and levels new and existing jobs including FLSA determination
• Annual Compensation Planning program administration, including set up, maintenance, reporting, audits
• Support Workday functionaility including testing and data validation
• Perform ad hoc reporting from HR systems including Workday, SAP, Workday, CompAnalyst, Cognos, etc.
• Coordinate annual survey participation
• Perform analyses to determine competitive position
• Assist in the development of job family frameworks
• Analyze compensation metrics and develop insights from those metrics
• Assist in development, preparation and distribution of compensation communication materials
• Maintain data quality/integrity within the HR system of record; liaise with internal partners to coordinate processing of mass job or pay changes
• Document internal processes and procedures
• Enterprise Program/Project Liaison (as assigned)
• Assist with comprehensive compensation reviews for client groups
• Other projects/duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications :
• Minimum 2 years of Compensation, HR, Finance, or general business experience preferred.
• Highly Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
• Workday, SAP, and Cognos knowledge a plus
• Exceptional quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details
• Solid written communication and consulting skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Ability to interact with senior level executives
• Solid understanding of compensation practices and trends

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree – preferably in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in [location] is 84,600.00-$103,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
