Associate Manager, Integrated Planning (Disney Entertainment Television)
The Integrated Planning Associate Manager will provide vital support for strategic planning alignment and cross-segment collaboration around key consumer marketing events and activations for the Disney Entertainment Television Brand and its entire portfolio of brands and platforms (ABC, ABC News, ABC OTV, Disney Branded Television, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney Television Studios, Freeform, FX, Hulu, National Geographic, and Onyx Collective). She/he/they will report into one of the team's Integrated Planning Managers and support the entire Integrated Planning function.
Responsibilities:
• Works closely with Director, Integrated Planning and Integrated Planning managers to support Disney Entertainment Television (DET) brand activation alignment, resources, and planning tools.
• Supports partner communication and relationships to track activations and aggregate plans for key DET and Enterprise priorities.
• Contribute to the creation of unified strategic objectives, planning guidance, and creative resources for DET-wide consumer marketing events and activations and aggregate activation information from Disney Entertainment Television, Enterprise and Lines of Business and partners.
• Support execution of cross-DET initiatives around inclusive marketing, heritage months, and broader macro events like D23, SDCC, Sundance, Essence Festival, etc. and on-site support and coordination at those events
• Supports the production and planning alignment for live events and activations with internal partners and third-party agencies and vendors.
• Leads creation of aggregated campaign overviews and planning guides for key opportunistic cultural celebrations, campaigns and initiatives. Manages the distribution of these resources alongside other team members.
• Ensures partner representation in planning tools by serving as a liaison with those teams.
• Helps manage and update master contact & distribution lists for all DET Integrated Planning & Synergy partners.
• Supports external agency and partner relationships including contributing to briefs, coordinating RFP processes, and facilitating the efficient and timely delivery of related assets.
• Ensure alignment and partnership with the DET Synergy team on shared priorities and celebrations like Enterprise Franchise & CSR initiatives and Cultural Moments
• Support ad hoc projects as needed across the DET Integrated Planning & Synergy team
Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years of Brand Marketing or social activation integrated planning, synergy experience required.
• 1+ years of experience creating presentations across multiple formats, including PowerPoint, Keynote and/or Google Slides. Experience using Adobe Creative Suites. Required Samples of work will be requested.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed organization.
• Experience supporting the production of live events and activations.
• Strategic problem solver that thinks outside of the box to find solutions.
• Highly capable communication skills and ability to deliver feedback to partners efficiently and effectively.
• Able to work and adapt to changing timelines for partner deliverables.
• Must be a team player.
• Ability to travel and work evenings/ weekends based on business needs.
• Must live within a commutable distance to Burbank, CA (position is onsite).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior Disney experience preferred.
• Entertainment industry experience, strong understanding of various content distribution models (linear, streaming, theatrical, in-home) a plus.
• Experience giving in-person and virtual presentations.
Required Education:
• College degree or equivalent experience
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $77,100 to $103,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
