About the Role & Team:
At The Walt Disney Company Korea, storytelling is at the heart of everything we do. We seek an experienced and dynamic Associate Marketing Manager to drive the strategic brand management of Disney+, National Geographic, and Corporate Social channels.

This position sits within the Brand & Franchise Marketing team, collaborating closely with two other Associate Brand Managers (Marvel/20th Century and Disney/Pixar/Lucas), as well as with media, content marketing, and corporate communications teams.
We are looking for a strategic yet creative brand marketer with operational excellence who can bring critical thinking, data-driven insights, and a high degree of stakeholder management.
What You Will Do:
• Brand Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement the annual brand strategy and marketing plans for Disney+, Nat Geo, and Corporate Social, aligning with company priorities. Manage brand performance across awareness, familiarity, affinity, and engagement KPIs.
• Disney+ Brand Stewardship: Lead Disney+ brand building efforts, partnering closely with content marketing teams to ensure differentiated brand positioning in Korea. Initiate and manage branded content projects that elevate the Disney+ brand identity.
• Social Media Leadership: Oversee the strategy and execution for owned social channels (Disney Korea, Disney+ Korea, Marvel Korea, 20th Century Korea, National Geographic Korea, Star Wars Korea), including content ideation, calendar management, social listening, community management, and risk mitigation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead cross-functional collaboration across internal teams (APAC, Headquarters, and Korea local teams) and external partners. Serve as the brand marketing voice across content, media planning, strategy, and corporate communication teams.
• Data-driven Insights: Drive brand health tracking, analyze consumer and market research, extract actionable implications, and incorporate findings into strategies and campaigns.
• Creative Excellence: Develop strategic creative briefs and manage agency partners to deliver breakthrough, consumer-relevant brand communications.
• Agency Management: Manage AOR and social agencies to ensure best-in-class campaign development and execution.
• Internal Synergy: Provide thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and strategic partnership within the Brand & Franchise team to inspire and elevate team performance.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• 8+ years of progressive marketing experience in FMCG, tech, or entertainment industries.
• Strong strategic thought leadership grounded in critical thinking, data analysis, and business acumen.
• Proven excellence in holistic brand management: from insight mining, strategy development, audience targeting, campaign briefing, to execution and agency management.
• Experience managing social media platforms and developing social-first campaigns.
• Highly skilled in stakeholder management, with a collaborative, persuasive, and proactive communication style.
• Creativity balanced with operational rigor: ability to deliver fresh, innovative ideas while ensuring flawless execution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Korean and English.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
