Marketing Operations is a cross-functional team with a focus on driving engagement and retention of streaming subscribers. It empowers our Disney+ marketing and partner teams to unleash growth velocity. By managing our marketing channels, we continuously optimise user touchpoints with growth and campaign marketers. With our partners in Product, Analytics & Insights and more - we strategically align to build systemic solutions that enable marketers to ideate and test concepts. All with a relentless focus on the best experience for our users.

As part of the Product Marketing Operations & Tech team, the Product Marketing Operations Manager is a hybrid of skill sets including: hands-on coding, test instrumentation, marketer strategy thought-partner collaboration and user advocacy - leveraging internal resources when appropriate.

In addition the role drives the execution and campaign delivery of our lifecycle communications to enable the initiatives and objectives for our marketers.

A successful Marketing Operations Manager is results driven, data informed and thoughtful in their approach to maximising message utilisation while balancing the needs of users and internal stakeholders using a measured collaborative approach.

Responsibilities:
• Project manage and ensure flawless execution of email, push and in-app engagement channel messages.
• Assist with building, testing and delivering lifecycle marketing campaign messages for the purpose of driving content engagement from our subscribers.
• Execute messaging optimisation and best practice adoption.
• Run split and multivariate tests, ensuring test protocols are administered to minimise bias.
• Create and manage project plans with clearly defined deliverables and resources, coordinate work streams and dependancies.
• Track and communicate message campaigns across personalisation, dynamic content management etc.
• Implement and audit all analytical encoding to enable messaging effectiveness.
• Ensure all messages conform to GDPR and other legal or compliance regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, product management, program management or directly relevant field and executing CRM/Lifecycle channel marketing campaigns with insights and optimisation tactics for email, push, SMS and in-app.
• Proficiency in building HTML emails from assets files, make message template adjustments and have the ability to articulate more complex needs to developers; ability to troubleshoot simple HTML errors.
• A/B and multivariate test design and execution.
• An understanding and administration of message experimentation best practices.
• Attention to detail, with an ability to identify issues and implement remedies inclusive of conveying even the most complex concepts in simplified, easy to understand and digestible terms.
• Experience supporting a globally distributed stakeholder team.
• Highly organised, self-motivated, highly methodical and a strong team player with superior communication and copywriting skills and a drive to exceed user expectations and enable partner marketing teams.
• Be able to multitask and handle simultaneous projects, have exceptional problem solving skills and display composure under stress.
• Superior stakeholder partnership management via a consultative approach.
• Working knowledge of agile methodologies - Jira/Confluence as well as email and mobile channel best practices.
• Ability to be on-call when high priority business needs necessitate.
• Language fluency in English.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Experience in an operational role.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Template scripting (e.g. AMPscript, Liquid).
• Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze and/or other lifecycle marketing platforms, ideally certified in one main platform.
• Experience in building lifecycle user journeys.
• Working knowledge of compliance requirements.
• Statistical analysis.
• Fluency in another language (e.g. German, French, Spanish and/or Italian).
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
