Job Description

GOLF DIGEST is looking for a creative and innovative media talent to join our audience development, and marketing team. A perfect candidate will know key social media platforms inside and out, and also be clued in to emerging networks. This person will work closely with GOLF DIGEST'S editors and designers on the optimization of content for GOLF DIGEST'S social platforms. She or he will be responsible for writing and publishing social posts to GOLF DIGEST'S various platforms. This person will work to increase audience engagement, overall social referrals, and the size of GOLF DIGEST'S loyal audience.

• Manage and execute posting schedule on several platforms

• Work with editorial staff and designers to frame content packages for social media success

• Ensure all posts are optimized and tracked for performance

• Report weekly on progress and learnings

• Collaborate with social team and editors to improve social headlines and decks

* 1-2 years' experience in publishing, ideally having worked on both editorial and audience development
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Professional experience creating and optimizing content for platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
* Professional experience with publishing and analytics tools including Hootsuite, Dash Hudson, Facebook Insights, Parse.ly, and ListenFirst
* Excellent editorial judgement, the ability to quickly write and edit snappy copy, and a clear understanding of Golf Digest's voice and visual style
*Strong knowledge of golf, including professional tours, instruction and golf history
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
