We are currently recruiting a Junior FP&A Analyst to Discovery's Financial Planning & Analysis Center of Excellence - organization that maintains worldwide operations.

On this position you will be supporting Compensation & Benefits FP&A team.

Responsibilities

1. Recurring and ad hoc reporting:
• run automated headcount reporting (monthly / on request) based on the defined reporting structure,

• maintain and regularly refresh financial summaries during month-end close and forecast processes,

• update BPC financial system with HR data which feeds up Global BI system,

• prepare manual reclasses and execute with RTR team during and after month-end close,

• assist in the production of monthly global FTE forecast, consolidate inputs, and introduce to forecast tracker,

• request new cost centers creation to Finance Systems teams and update HR systems,

• support the annual budget process, implement changes to C&B system cube,

• send out regularly HR data with financial coding to payroll teams and execute the correctness of usage,

• share HR data on C&B team members requests,

• assist in the Contractors data gathering,

• perform ad hoc tasks and reporting,

2. Data validation:
• review payroll reports coding to HR system and highlight unusual transactions on the monthly basis,

• validate and keep up to date divisional, departmental and approval flow assignment for current cost center structure,

• maintain the key mapping changes and perform retro coding changes in the historical HR data,

• highlight key findings to support other C&B team members,

• review PO expiration dates, financial coding and request the closing if necessary,

3. Data governance:
• implement position coding changes identified during the forecast process on request from other team members directly in HR system or via HR Operations team,

• track new vacant positions in HR system and align financial coding with reporting line if needed,

• execute and inform of any pending items not yet approved or created in HR system,

• maintain department hierarchy in BPC based on current reporting structure

Requirements
• A year of working experience in financial department

• Fluent in English is a must

• General accounting knowledge

• Good MS Excel & PowerPoint skills

• Assured self-starter on relevant projects and work is a plus

• Strong oral and written English communication skills

• Excellent analytical skills

• Pro-active and hands-on

• High drive and energy level

• Your way of working is characterized by a high level of accuracy
