Overview
The Digital Ad Sales organization is responsible for the monetization of all owned and operated digital platforms (streaming devices, Go Apps, websites, mobile) through development and execution of custom advertising solutions including content marketing, sponsorships, social, targeted media, programmatic ads, display ads, newsletters, etc.
Responsibilities
The Digital Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing general support and account maintenance for the Digital Account Specialists/Senior Digital Account Specialists and Digital Account Executives as directed by Director Digital Revenue & Planning. This position's primary focus will be campaign stewardship, client reporting, act as a primary liaison with Digital Ad Operations / Tech teams and post campaign handle billing and assist in performance recaps for clients and agencies.
• Maintain campaigns within contract management systems.
• Collaborate with Digital Account Specialists/Senior Digital Account Specialists and Ad Operations team(s) regarding campaign scheduling, optimizations, and re-allocations.
• Schedule flight changes, makegoods and monitor campaign delivery across Discovery's digital portfolio (streaming services, websites, social platforms).
• Gather campaign delivery data weekly and monthly leveraging internal and external reporting tools, and complete client facing reporting templates.
• Maintain files of campaign screenshots / proofs of campaign launches for all placements.
• Complete monthly billing and reporting requests.
• Submit post-sale research/benchmark requests for wrap reports.
• Participate in special projects and assignments.
• Partner with and shadow Digital Account Specialists/Senior Account Specialists to build media plans, gather campaign assets from clients, agencies and internal teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study (advertising, communication, marketing, business, etc).
• Previous internship experience in the Media, Advertising Agency or Digital / Technology space is highly preferred. Digital Media / advertising sales experience a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational and time management skills, with strong self-directed learning abilities.
• Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge or experience in data management platforms such as Operative and Salesforce and/or a basic understanding of ad serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager (DFP) and Freewheel is a plus.
• Written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to multitask under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment, among diverse teams across the country.
• Must be able to work from the office in-person 3 days a week.
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States .
